North Point MTR station is just a five-minute walk away, with plenty of local food, a busy wet market, shopping malls, and the boardwalk nearby. The location is good, but the hotel didn’t meet the standard I expected for the price. Cleanliness was a problem, as other reviewers have mentioned. We found clumps of dust along the carpet edges and hair on the bathroom floor. It didn’t look like Housekeeping vacuumed. Of the power sockets along the kitchenette wall, only one worked, so we had to choose between using the kettle and the water dispenser. On checkout day, a Front Office staff member got into the lift without greeting the guests. She was beside the button panel, and when we got off on the same floor, she walked out first without holding the door, even though she saw us with luggage. We’ve stayed at other Ascott properties, and this was one of the worst for service standards.

The facilities are modern and pleasant to use, and the rooms are clean and comfortable enough to feel like home. Staff are friendly, professional, and ready to help. It offers good value and made for a wonderful stay.

The location felt like a more local side of Hong Kong, away from the usual central city atmosphere. Step outside and there are local shops, markets, and restaurants all around. If getting a feel for local Hong Kong is your thing, this is a good spot, with easy access to the subway and trams, the “Ding ding,” to Central district on the island. It has an excellent serviced apartment style layout, with generous, comfortable rooms, modern finishes, and clean, tasteful decor.

We stayed in a clean one-bedroom suite that was a decent size. The staff were friendly and helpful, and North Point MTR station is only about a five-minute walk away.

The rooms are well designed and relatively large, and the washer and kitchenette came in handy. The hotel is close to North Point MTR, the promenade, and waterfront, with updated malls nearby. It’s in an older residential area that feels quieter than some other parts of town.
