Having complimentary drinking water at reception, close to our room, was handy. Our room was decent for the price, with effective air-conditioning and good ventilation in both the bedroom and bathroom. The water heater worked, towels were changed each day, and the clean bedding had no odor. Delta Lounge /Ashoka is in Chungking Mansions, and getting around was easy: food and shops are nearby, as are the train and bus stations. A couple of small things were missing. There was no wall-mounted rail for hanging worn clothes, and, like many places in Hong Kong, the toilet had no bidet. Even so, it was a pleasant, convenient stay, and I’d consider coming back for the location, cleanliness, and comfort.

There are plenty of food options inside the building, and it’s easy to get money exchanged nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, with guests accommodated 24/7. I appreciated their hospitality and generosity. Our room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a hot shower and clean towels. Thanks for a great stay!

The location worked perfectly for me, and I liked the place enough to recommend it. It was hard to find at first, but once I reached reception, the staff were kind and made me feel welcome. They gave me a nice room for the price I paid and did a thorough job with housekeeping. I’d seen a lot of bad reviews, but my experience was completely different. The friendly people and the room were enough for me.

The rooms were neat and tidy, though rather narrow for children, and the staff were extremely friendly and ready to help. Still, I wouldn’t choose this hostel for a family, especially one with kids. It’s on the 16th floor and there’s just one lift, which is often crowded, so even a quick trip down and back can take a long time. There’s no food facility in the hostel either, so you have to go down to the market for meals. That can be inconvenient.

A nice, clean room and really helpful staff. The location is right in the city center, and they provide free water. I’d come back with my family.
