The room wasn't cleaned even after I put the sign on the door asking for service. I found ants despite not having any food in the room, and there were instant noodle crumbs left on the floor by previous guests. There was also a spider on my pillow. The towels were stained, and the washroom light kept flickering nonstop. Save your money and go somewhere else. You can find a cheaper, cleaner place. This doesn't meet Best Western standards, and it's by far the worst one I've stayed at. Pay attention to the reviews on booking sites like Agoda. I don't know how this hotel gets five-star reviews.

The location is good, but that's the only positive. The rooms weren't cleaned at all, and the air conditioning in the family rooms didn't cool. We switched rooms twice and ran into the same problem each time. I also didn't find the bed comfortable. Avoid it if you're looking for a comfortable family stay.

The price is very reasonable, and the stay was comfortable. The area is lively, with plenty of amenities and attractions close by. The Avenue of Stars and other notable Hong Kong landmarks are nearby, and buses and the MTR are easy to access. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and managed to find me a room that suited me better. Breakfast was a pleasant start to the day. The selection is basic but quite adequate, and the breakfast staff were lovely and accommodating. The nightlife around here is enjoyable too, if that's your thing.

The cleaning staff did a great job keeping our room clean and tidy. But on our third night, my pregnant wife had to make an emergency overseas call, knowing the hotel would charge us. At midnight, while we were asleep in our sleepwear, reception called and told us to come down and pay the phone bill. We were booked for five more days, so I asked if we could settle it the next day. It was the middle of the night, and they'd woken us just over this call. I went downstairs in my nightwear and asked for the manager. She kindly explained that their accounts were closing at midnight and offered to cover the bill temporarily so I could repay her the next morning. By then it was no help, since I was already there ready to pay the bill they had disturbed us for. I paid, and my pregnant wife was left uncomfortable after being woken up. I hope she and the baby are okay. The way this hotel handles billing is completely inhumane. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up getting sued one day.
