Bridal Tea House Hotel Yau Ma Tei Arthur Street

The lobby was cheerful and welcoming, which was a nice surprise after seeing how rundown and sleazy the hotel looked from a distance 😅. It is a budget hotel, so expect a small room, but ours was clean. The bed was so comfortable I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. They provided drinking water daily, and the room had a hairdryer and electric kettle. The shower pressure was really good, and there was a microwave in the common area for heating food. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was a letdown despite the low price for the area. Bugs were in the room, and the soundproofing was poor. In the morning I kept hearing the next room, while at night street noise came through, even though we were on the 15/F. Staff were impolite and unhelpful. The one clear plus was the location, just a two minute walk from the station. The hotel still failed to meet basic requirements.

Getting around was easy, with plenty of public transport nearby. The room, though, was tiny and could barely fit two people, unlike what the photos suggested. There was no Wi-Fi service in the rooms as advertised, and I wasn't happy with the room or service. I wouldn't recommend it.

Handy for shopping and nearby places to go out. Finding the entrance in the evening was a little tricky.
