We arrived at GLoft to find that the booking clearly listed three adults and our child, but the man there called someone and then handed over the keycard and instructions without discussing it further. Earlier, he had insisted by phone that our three-year-old wasn't included and demanded HKD200 per night for the last two nights. I said we'd talk when we got there, since the booking printout showed all four of us. The trouble started the night before. I had messaged around 4-5PM to explain our flight was delayed and we'd probably arrive after the 11:30PM check-in cutoff. We landed at HK airport around 11:15pm, rushed to get a simcard, then texted and called, but got no reply. Once my mobile data was on, I saw a message saying check-in was only from 1:30 PM to 11:30PM. I asked them to reconsider because our son was with us, it was late, and we had nowhere to stay, but they still didn't answer. We fortunately found Legend Guest House in Harilela Mansion, a few meters from Chunking Mansion, where GLoft is. The next day, GLoft called to ask how many people were staying. I wouldn't recommend GLoft. They were very inconsiderate, and the rooms look good only in photos. We had a much better experience with Legend Guest House/Sandhu Hotel, whose front desk staff were accommodating, rooms clean, and window view awesome.
