The hotel is in a commercial building, which isn’t how a normal hotel usually operates. The front desk is on 16/F. I had a Double Bed Room on the highest level, 26/F. The elevator system seemed a bit old and took a few minutes to arrive. The room looked newly renovated and clean, but it was quite small compared with other Hong Kong hotels I’ve stayed in. With large suitcases, there would hardly be room to open them. The main drawback was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear corridor noise and people chatting, though luckily the hotel wasn’t fully occupied and things were still fairly quiet. The location is very close to Wan Chai and within walking distance of Causeway Bay. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the district, so it’s a good area for experiencing Hong Kong nightlife.

Check-in was easy, and the room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed. There is a deposit on top of the room charge, so keep that in mind. They advertise a free mobile phone in the room, but mine didn’t work and there was no notice about it. That’s why I’m giving four stars.

We liked nearly everything, especially the location. It’s under five minutes from lively Causeway Bay, with two 7-Eleven shops right at the doorstep. The Wi-Fi was good, too. The room was a bit smaller than we expected, but the bathroom was a decent size and had a really nice shower.

The staff were incredibly helpful whenever I needed anything, and I really appreciated that. My room was modern, clean, and so convenient. I also liked that the reception is on the 15th floor, I think, so all the rooms are above it and get a nice view. Very, very happy with this place. Big thanks to the staff, and I hope to visit again!

The new design looks nice, but you can hear everything between rooms. I've never stayed anywhere in the world at a newly renovated hotel with worse soundproofing. Staff told me lots of people complain. I wish more of them had said so on the booking site I used before I booked this dump.
