J Link Hotel

Not good. I asked several times for the room to be cleaned, but nobody did it. The reception staff had a bad attitude. I paid to come on vacation, not to stay for free. The service was poor.

I couldn't check in as planned because of personal circumstances, so I asked for the guest name on the reservation to be changed. The hotel refused, blaming its partnership agreement. To me, this is a basic administrative change, and they showed no flexibility or consideration for my situation. Communication was rigid and unhelpful, with no effort to help resolve the problem. That lack of care is unacceptable for a hospitality business. I've also seen multiple reports of discriminatory practices against mainland Chinese guests at this hotel, and my own experience reinforces my concerns about whether its service is fair and of good quality. I've filed a formal complaint with the Hong Kong Consumer Council and am waiting for further action. This was very disappointing, and I'd strongly advise potential guests to think twice before booking.

We're a family of four who planned to stay at Jlink for 15 days. When we arrived, we couldn't check in because the name on the ID didn't match the Booking.com reservation. The name was corrected in Booking.com, but the hotel still refused to let my family check in. They also refused to refund the payment for all 15 days. We had to scramble to find another hotel and pay for another 15-day booking. This isn't fair business practice. Book at your own risk. A police report has been filed against them.

The tram stop right outside makes getting to Central quick and easy. The hotel is close to Causeway Bay too, and the staff are friendly and speak English and Chinese fluently.
