Kowloon Mongkok 1812 Guest House

For the price and location, this felt like a steal. It's less than a five-minute walk to the MTR, and the ladies night market is right across the street. We stayed on the 11th floor. The room itself was clean, spacious, had no smell, and had clean sheets. Towels were changed daily, the hair dryer worked, and while the bed was hard, it was fine for just sleeping since we weren't there all day. The bathroom is very small, but did the job. The hall, lobby and elevator weren't clean, so don't expect much there. The receptionist, Mr. Yu, was welcoming and kind. It's not a hotel, but a good place to stay and sleep, with a 100/100 location.

We had a booking issue: there were two of us but only one single bed. The owner upgraded us at no extra cost and gave us another room, helped us with directions, and even returned my deposit when I lost the deposit card. He's a very good person. The rooms are good and well maintained. I'd highly recommend this place if you want a relatively low price and good location. It's close to the mon kok metro station, making travel easy, and near all the llmarkets like ladies electronic and shoe.

The room and bathroom are tiny, but neat, and the bed is very comfortable. It's a nice experience for a reasonably priced guest house. The owner is friendly, and they provided four pairs of chappals, a coffee maker, and a clothesline in the bathroom. There's a password as well as a key to get into the room, which feels secure, though using both is less straightforward than the single card in other hotels. Lots of restaurants surround the place, and Ladies market is very close.

The location is good, but there was mold on the pillows and throughout the place. The AC only partly worked and sounded like a helicopter overhead. I can't complain about customer service because there isn't a way to reach them afterward. I messaged them and got no reply.
