For the price, it's pretty okay: you get a room with a bed, and a bathroom if you book one. The building seems to be at the lower end of the standard. A lot of people living there seem less well situated, which is of course fine; I just get the impression the hostel owners are taking advantage of the low rent and good location. I can understand it, but it feels a bit shady. The service people were very nice once I found which hostel I'd booked, since there are a lot of them. They take out the trash each day, but don't do much else. If you book, check the building layout and find the reception floor in the hostel description on your booking site. Go to that floor and look for the letters, like 12F, to get your room card. Also remember which elevator to use, since they don't all stop on every floor.

The room was decent and comfortable, and it's within walking distance of shopping areas and tourist spots. The train and bus are very accessible from here.

The location is great, but the room and bathroom are so tiny that the space feels uncomfortable, even though they’ve made use of every bit of it. The room is in a very old building, too.

We had a great stay, and the room was good for 2-3 people at that price. It’s cozy, with a TV and hot shower, and they clean it daily, sheets included. Still, we found 2 dead, badly malnourished bed bugs on our sheets. There’s a hot and cold water dispenser outside the room, and they accept the local currency equivalent to HKD for the deposit.
