We spent a couple of weeks here and found it really worth the money, especially for a family. The staff are very, very friendly, and the place is well built and neatly maintained. Nearby markets make it easy to buy groceries and cook for yourself. There’s Wi-Fi, a microwave, fridge, two-burner automatic stove, utensils, washing machine, dryers, knife sets, and a TV. The maid washes the utensils and puts them back in the afternoon. Each room has AC, the bed fits two comfortably, and the lighting is good. Instructions for using all the appliances are provided. Book ahead and you should enjoy your stay. Cheers.

I stayed for 15 days and the service was good. The rooms are spacious by Hong Kong standards. Grocery shops, pubs, and restaurants are close to the building. The nearest MTR exit is C, and trams and buses are just a 1-2 minute walk away.

Bars and good restaurants are all around, and Wanchai subway station is about a 10-minute walk. That nightlife does bring noise at night, though. The service apartment was clean and spacious, and the staff were helpful and spoke perfect English.

I’ve been living at defenwick and it’s been a pretty good service apartment. Wanchai station and the market are nearby. They clean the rooms every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and change the bed and quilt each Thursday. There are studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, plus a small gym on the third floor :)

I stayed for a month in 2011. The rooms are compact, as you’d expect in HK, but well fitted, and there’s a small gym with a few machines. It’s handy for new visitors and fairly close to Wan Chai MTR. Lockhart Road can be a bit much, though, and street noise gets into the rooms.
