Little Tai Hang

We stayed three nights and really enjoyed the place. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the hotel felt like a hotel and serviced apartment combined. Laundry facilities were a real bonus, as were the well equipped gym and communal area with Nespresso machines and snacks. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and topped up without us asking. The housekeeper even gathered the loose coins we had left on the table into a little basket, such a thoughtful touch. Nearby there are plenty of cafés and local cha chaan teng, plus a 7 eleven. We'd definitely stay again.

We had an amazing harbour view from our high floor, and loved looking at it in the morning and at night. Our two week family stay at Little Tai Hang (Corner House) in December felt like home away from home, thanks to the attentive staff and tidy, detailed housekeeping. They were quick to help with anything we needed. The serviced apartment was very family and baby friendly, with a baby crib, high chair, space heater and extra clothing rack. Dorothy was extremely helpful during booking and managed to get us the suite type we wanted. The MTR is a little farther away than I'd like, though lots of buses stop just steps from the hotel. There were also cute coffee shops, restaurants and bars nearby, plus a Park 'n Shop supermarket for quick groceries. We'd gladly return and highly recommend it.

I've stayed at Little Tai Hang four times, in both garden view and harbour view rooms. The garden view room doesn't have a kitchenette. I love the place and would come back, but there's still room for it to improve. Tai Hang is a lovely neighbourhood with nearby cafés and restaurants, about a six minute walk from Tin Hau station. It's walkable to the heart of Causeway bay, the main shopping area, and close to victoria park for a stroll. There are three supermarkets about five minutes away on foot. The rooms are super clean and the design feels like home away from home. I also love the smart TV and speaker for music and ambience, and the shower pressure is GREAT. The janitor lady always greeted us with a big smile when we passed the rooms. There's a common area on the 5/F that's good for working. For a hotel like this, hospitality feels far from five star quality. During checkout, typhoon no.8 was hoisted, but they didn't offer a late checkout. I asked numerous times before they finally let me extend until 2pm. I would've expected them to be less strict in such extreme weather. I've also spent my birthday there a couple of years, but even though they had my ID card they didn't notice or acknowledge it. Other hotels might offer extra care, and even a little birthday card would have made me feel more welcome. The receptionist also never mentioned the gym or 5th floor common area until I asked about them on my fourth visit.

Waking up to Victoria Harbour through the floor to ceiling windows was such a treat. My Studio Luxury Harbour View room was cosy, stylish and had thoughtful touches that made it feel like home, with lots of natural light. I loved staying at Little Tai Hang on my recent Hong Kong trip. It's tucked into a local neighbourhood but still convenient for getting around the city. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and there's a cute café downstairs plus lots of good local food spots nearby. It doesn't have the typical chain hotel feel, in the best way. I'd recommend Little Tai Hang if you're after somewhere less touristy in Hong Kong.
