Metropark Hotel Kowloon

I mainly needed somewhere to rest and shower after a long flight from Europe, before getting on a cruise, and Metropark Hotel Kowloon worked well for that. It’s clean and functional, with reasonable prices by Hong Kong standards and a convenient, well-connected location. Nothing especially modern or luxurious, but comfortable enough to recover from the trip. I’d consider it for a transit stop, quick business trip, or other short stay if value and central access matter more than luxury.

The location made it easy to explore, and there’s a local shuttle. Staff were friendly, the beds comfortable, and we heard no elevator noise even though our room was right beside it. Rooms are small, as you’d expect in Hong Kong, but clean and tidy. There was no complimentary bottled water or breakfast.

Check-in and checkout were both smooth, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed October 10-14 and found the room clean, with the basic essentials. The free shuttle runs to and from Langham mall, which is handy. Across the road there’s a large grocery store, and on the same block are good restaurants and a few okay convenience stores. No extra frills, but good value for the price. I’d stay again on my next Hong Kong visit. 🏨🇭🇰

Both the room and bathroom were clean, and the slippers were comfortable. The pork chop place next to the hotel was the best. We only found out later that a shuttle could take guests to and from the subway station, so we ended up walking quite a lot 😂
