I’ll definitely stay here again. It’s one of the best places I’ve stayed in Hong Kong, and breakfast was included in the price. Yes, it’s a dormitory, so sharing is part of it, but there’s a lovely family feeling even with all the 'strangers' coming and going. The place is cleaned every day, and the multilingual staff are friendly, helpful, informed, and knowledgeable. They like arranging local experiences for guests and put guests’ needs first.

If you're trying to avoid Hong Kong's pricey hotels, this hostel is a neat, well-kept option with friendly, polite staff. They can be especially helpful with local sightseeing and food tours. The entrance can be tricky to find, so look for the bar/pub next door. There's also a parrot named yellow, but be careful when approaching to play with her. Weekends book up, so reserve early. It's a lively place, and don't be surprised to see professionals living in hostels.

The 12-bed dorm was cramped, with bags everywhere, and the bathroom smelled of urine. Our room was right by reception, where people, staff included, partied all night, every night, so sleep seemed impossible. In the morning, the kitchen and reception were sticky and full of empty beer cans. There are cheaper, better hostels in Hong Kong. If you care about getting some rest and keeping your sanity, stay elsewhere.

The views from the common area are lovely, looking out over Victoria Harbour and Kowloon, and I found the beds pretty comfortable. It's in a great spot on Hong Kong Island in Causeway Bay. The people running the hostel seemed really nice, and I met other guests I enjoyed spending time with, including a few I explored the city with. I haven't tried other Hong Kong hostels, so I can't compare firsthand, but this has to be one of the best, maybe the best.

The toilet had a strong urine smell, and the noise was the worst I've experienced in a hostel. Guests kept chatting, laughing, and playing loud music past midnight. They knew about the 11 pm quiet hours, since I heard them mention them casually, then they burst into another loud laugh. It's a place to meet people, sure, but not for tired travelers who just need to wash up and sleep.
