We were so impressed by The Pottinger’s staff, location, and rooms that we’d give it six stars if we could. When our 18-month-old son got hurt soon after we arrived, Linus at the front desk immediately offered help. He offered to hail a cab, cleared up our confusion about the Children's hospital, and told us where the nearest ER was. He stayed engaged and made sure we had what we needed. Guinevere and Linus often greeted us warmly whenever we came or went, and the cleaning staff were kind too. The hotel is an excellent base, with many sights within easy walking distance and public or private transport available for places farther away. Our rooms were clean, and we’d recommend it to families and other travelers.

We spent eight days at The Pottinger and would stay there again on our next trip to Hong Kong. It’s in Central, close to lots of transport options, including the Mid Level Travellators. Our modern rooms were spacious and well appointed, and housekeeping serviced them twice a day. I’d recommend it.

The welcoming, attentive reception staff made our stay at The Pottinger feel good from beginning to end. The room was good quality, and the location added to the experience. When I’m next in Hong Kong, this will be high on my list.

My office at the Center was an easy walk from the Pottinger Hotel in HK, and the location was the main draw for me. It’s a boutique hotel, tastefully decorated and kept. I enjoyed the stay and would come back when I’m next in HK.

The location was good, and the cocktail bar was good too. The mattress, though, was very firm and uncomfortable, and nobody told us about the construction next door before we arrived. Getting to the lobby from queens street would be easier with lift access, since the steps on Pottinger are steep when you have luggage.
