We had a fine, clean room, and the staff made the bed, changed the towels each day, and left us water. Breakfast was decent too, with enough vegetarian options for me. For a budget-friendly stay, it worked well, and it wasn’t nearly as bad as the other reviews had led me to expect. My husband and I stayed five nights. There are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby, and it’s close to public transport and tourist spots. Nothing to complain about. Promise!

We had a memorable stay thanks to the professional, courteous staff. The premier ocean double was well equipped, and the linen looked nearly new. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and quiet. Its location is especially handy for seeing Hong Kong, with MRT, trams, buses, and ferries nearby. An Octopus card lets you combine the different transport options.

Reception were friendly and efficient, and I liked the display near the entrance introducing local food products. My room was small but comfortable, clean, tidy, and well maintained. It felt fairly new, the WiFi was fine, and having a choice of pillows was a nice touch. The bathroom was compact but practical, and I slept well in a quiet room. Breakfast had plenty of choice, but all the food I tried was cold. Getting coffee took a while too. They should keep the cooked dishes warm and improve the coffee service, perhaps offering guests a cup when they arrive instead of making them search and wait.

The pool was closed, and the gym is pretty small. Still, the price is very reasonable for such a lively area, and the people were friendly. The hotel and rooms were very nice, with spacious options for three people. The bathroom is a little small, though. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

I don't really understand the bad reviews. The hotel is clean and in a great spot, with a lovely cosy bed. The people are friendly, and it’s just a few minutes from MTR Wan Chai or the bus stop on Hennessy Street. Supermarkets and bars are all around. There’s coffee, water, a fridge, and a kettle in the room, plus infused water dispensers in the lobby. When I needed a parcel sent, they took good care of it. The price is acceptable, but I think breakfast at around HK$ 185 is too much, even with its wide food and coffee selection. There’s a nice seating area in the lobby. The pool and massage, spa, and gym facilities are in a separate building. I wouldn’t use the pool, though. It’s in the middle of a building and not a nice spot.
