The night market is only a block away, and the hotel also has a big attached branch of the Dunhuang Inspiration store with a coffee bar. I stayed in the second wing, building 8. The rooms there feel a little dated, but still have that Dunhuang luxury feel. The hotel itself is interesting and beautiful, with an almost opulent lobby, and it was open and busy even in the off season. Room service each day was excellent. Breakfast is served in a separate building. The food was very good, though the buffet and dining room weren't as elaborate as at some other hotels in this class. They even have buckwheat pillows, which felt unusual but was kind of wonderful.
