The room was small but clean, which made the rest of the stay even more of a shame. The building was filthy, with sick and urine in the stairwells far too often, and people at the entrance regularly hassled us and offered drugs. The company seemed dodgy too. I was charged twice after a friendly receptionist assured me one card payment was only pending and would be refunded. Now they've told Booking.com I was refunded and won't return my money. Don't stay here.

When I arrived, nobody was available to speak with me. After I waited outside for about 15 minutes, a man came out and rudely said I had no reservation. I showed him the confirmed booking.com reservation, but he brushed it off and shut the door in my face. Booking.com later confirmed that the reservation was fine, as I expected. I had to pay more for another hotel because I needed somewhere to sleep. I wouldn’t risk booking this place.

They couldn’t give me the room they’d confirmed, and then my credit card showed a charge for that room anyway. When I contacted the property about a refund, they told me to take it up with Booking.com. I felt completely helpless. A terrible experience.

We had to find another hotel because this place seems to have vanished or changed its name without telling us.

I left without taking the 900 HKD room they offered. I wasn’t comfortable with the situation, so I decided to find somewhere myself. I’m very grateful to the person in the same building who let me stay two nights for 600 HKD. I’d booked through booking.com for 700 HKD, but on arrival the owner said my room wasn’t secured because I hadn’t paid by credit card. I was stunned. He asked me to wait about 30 minutes while he checked with a friend for vacancies, then showed me the more expensive room. They apparently give priority to credit card payments and may turn cash payers away when full, without contacting them if the room isn’t secured. Be careful. I understand a little English but don’t speak it well, and they talked to me in a condescending way. If you go, do it with a sense of adventure! ♡
