Chelsea Hotel

The rooms were comfortable, and with only a few on each floor, I wasn't disturbed by noise. Wi-Fi was good enough for work, the air conditioning was easy to adjust, and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The bathroom had reliable temperature and water pressure. The two free bottles of water and the good quality toiletries, especially the toothbrush and paste, were nice touches. I asked online for a higher floor and got one. The four or so front desk staff I met were all welcoming and polite. They even checked the safe when I asked about exchanging money and were keen to help. I did get a call 15 minutes before checkout. There's no TV, room cleaning, or table, and no safe in the room. Maybe a safe isn't needed since they don't clean the rooms. The outlets are BF type, so bring an adapter. There's a universal shaver outlet in the bathroom that can charge a phone in a pinch, though it's very low power.

The rooms were decent and the staff were helpful, even though their English was limited. I stayed just two days after the hotel opened, and some of the place was still unfinished. The Wi-Fi in the room wasn't very good, and there was no TV or bathtub. It's easy to get around from here: the Tsim Sha Tsui station entrance is right by the hotel, with shops, money exchanges, restaurants, and bus stops about a five-minute walk away. A decent place to stay in HK.

Super convenient spot, and a nice location.

The staff were friendly and happy to help. My only issue was that the CR had no bidet. It's near the N1 exit of east tsim tsa tsui station.
