David Lounge

I had a great stay at David Lounge. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the place was clean, cozy, and stylish without feeling formal. The staff, especially the pretty korean staff, were really friendly and ready to help. There was tasty, fresh food and drink around the area, too. A nice place to unwind and have some quiet time. I'd gladly come back soon!

My mother and I spent eight days here on our DIY Hong Kong tour. The room was small, but fair for the low price, and there were plenty of places to walk to, including TST Promenade, Cultural Center, Star Ferry Pier and more. It's also handy for the public MRT, fast food, and stores, with lots of money exchangers downstairs. Highly recommended.

We had one of our worst stays in all our travels at David’s Lounge in Tsim Sha Tsui. The online photos gave a misleading impression. There was barely room to move or open our luggage, so we had to put the bags under the bed to make space to walk. The refrigerator and TV didn't work, and the AC took ages to cool the room. For hot water, you have to switch on a separate heater 10 minutes ahead, which was a hassle when we had early mornings. The bed was extremely hard, almost without foam, and the blanket was too small for two. The sheets had hair and the pillows smelled awful. It felt disgusting. The elevator did work, but the wait was long because it could take only a few people at once. We also felt uneasy coming back because groups of men were often standing near the entrance. It was uncomfortable, unhygienic, and not worth the price. I'd look for another place in Tsim Sha Tsui if you want a decent and safe stay in Hong Kong.

There are cheap places to eat close by, and the owner was friendly. Reception was nice about letting us check out late, and they offered somewhere to leave our luggage since our flight was late in the evening. The elevator is a bit tricky because it's small and fits only 4-5 people at a time. OK.
