The guesthouse staff member was rude and got irritated when I gave negative feedback. The room wasn’t properly cleaned, and there was a bunch of hair on the refrigerator. The building is deep inside the mansion, with people from many countries walking around, and people often approach you to pitch accommodation or transport, which felt scary. I’d spend a little more for better service and rooms.

Jojo was always there to help us, and the customer service was exemplary. We had a clean, nice-smelling single room with a double bed, and it was very comfortable for our four-day stay. The price was affordable, and everything was within walking distance since it’s right in the centre of Nathan road. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were woken up and told to leave the room because someone else had booked it at a higher price. They didn’t offer another room, and we were meant to stay four more days. It was a nightmare. I’ve been travelling on a budget for 18 months and this was the worst place I’ve stayed. The big mansion has at least 400 small hotels and 4000 rooms, and they seem to operate under lots of different names. Maybe some are decent, but they all cost less than 25 USD. I wouldn’t go to Pakistani places, though I’m not racist, it was just horrible.

I booked two rooms for one night through AGODA for February 17-18, 2020. I understood that the booking was non-refundable and couldn’t be changed. But Hong Kong declared a n-CoV virus emergency and our flights were cancelled. AGODA staff said they tried to negotiate with the manager, but the hotel still wouldn’t refund our booking. Why wouldn’t they let us cancel?
