DREAMNEST is a well-kept guesthouse for the price, with clean sheets and a clean, functional bathroom. The room is small, but it fits a twin bed with room to walk around. The owner, Giri, and the staff member, SV, are good. There’s free wifi and a water dispenser by the entrance. The lift in the building is dicey, so I often take the stairs down because it’s much faster. I’ve stayed at another guesthouse in the same building that was almost a dumpster, so this is one of the better ones in the area.

There were cockroaches and bugs all over the room. The first night, the guy woke me at 10am by banging on the door and telling me to check out because he thought I’d booked just one night. The next morning I could hear him knocking on other doors and doing the same thing. He didn’t change my towel when I asked. I also unexpectedly had to pay 350 hkd on Friday night, while the other weekdays were 250 hkd.
