The room was a little bigger than other Hong Kong hotels in the same price range, but the bed was short. My feet touched the wall when I bent my ankles while lying down. Water built up on the bathroom floor when I showered, and it wasn't just a shallow puddle. The drainage seemed poor, which felt unpleasant. Cigarette butts later floated in that water. It looked like previous guests had smoked in the bathroom and tossed them on the floor. I stayed for two nights.

They do seem to be trying: the room was cleaned daily and the towels were fresh. Still, you get what you pay for. The room is tiny, and the old building means the bathroom gets smelly easily. I'm also not sure the bedsheets are changed often enough.

The host was really helpful, and the clean room had the essentials. It was a great base for seeing Hong Kong, close to the night markets and MTR stations. I'd definitely stay again. :)

The room was disgusting, and the washrooms were like rubbish bins. The flush didn't work, and there were no towels or slippers. It felt like less than a zero-star hotel.
