The location is hard to beat. Jordan station’s B1 exit is right across from New Lucky House, and Temple Street is a five-minute walk away. There’s a Starbucks around the corner, loads of food options, two 7-Elevens and one Circke K nearby. You can also take one bus, A21 or A22, to or from the airport. I’d come back. The hostel is on the 14th floor. The building looks old, but the place itself is extremely clean as soon as you walk in. The owner or manager was very nice, probably the nicest person I met in HK. The small room was typical for HK and immaculately clean. They provided clean towels every day and cleaned the room daily. There was air conditioning, which we didn’t use because it was cold during our December stay, plus hot water, dental kits and a kettle. The door has a passcode for security. Great value.

The dog is cute, but after I patted it on the head and tried to touch its cheek, it bit me. I was more surprised than hurt, but be warned. They first gave us a room one floor above the main hostel area. It was bigger than advertised and had a very large TV, which I liked, but my girlfriend felt the bathroom door didn’t block sound and smells well enough. After we’d stayed one night, we asked to change rooms, and the owner offered two options that suited us. Very helpful. Our original room was supposed to have a kettle, but didn’t. We wanted to make coffee in the morning, and they couldn’t provide one in time. It’s advertised as having 24-hour reception, but that isn’t really the case. I think they’d help in an emergency if you messaged them, and they always replied to messages quickly.
The rooms are small but clean, and worked perfectly for my business trip. The location and price are the best in town, and I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling alone who needs a night or two. It’s a clean place to sleep. It’s right next to Jordan station, on the building’s 14th floor, so don’t expect a grand lobby. Once upstairs, clear signs show where to check in. No staff were there when I arrived, but they’d left a phone number and WeChat contact. I messaged them, and they appeared right away.
My mate and I shared a twin room and both really enjoyed it. It’s a great budget hotel in a very central spot. The owner, Polly, was incredibly kind and always helped us. She even gave us gifts or offered food and other things she’d bought. The dog’s super cute too. I’d recommend it for a stopover or a few nights if you’re trying to save some money.
I’d just been shocked by how dirty another hostel was, so I looked on TripAdvisor. For basically the same price, I found this place by the Jordan B1 exit. The building is old, but once you step into the room, you know you chose well. It was clean and cozy, and the reception staff spoke English and were kind and helpful. For a short Hong Kong visit, I really believe this is the best option at the best price. I’m Italian and love to complain, but not this time. Strongly recommend!
