The rooms are very cramped, especially the dorms and bunk bed area. It was hard even to get onto the bed comfortably, so be ready to make do with the amenities. The guest house is in a convenient location, and the rooms were quiet and clean. Kate at reception was really kind and helpful, and did her best to make the stay pleasant.

My bed had been given to someone else by the next day, and the woman at reception probably hadn't checked my expected arrival time. I’d confirmed I would arrive between midnight and 1 a.m. the day after my booking, but when I got there she said reception had closed at 12:30. They put me on a stretcher in the common room instead of giving me my bed. The staff were really rude and made me feel mocked. Not even a sorry. The beds are tiny, toilet paper was rarely available, there was no bum gun, and the bathroom door couldn't be locked.

We arrived for our booking of three rooms, paid in full online through Agoda, and were told there were no rooms available. The manager spoke loudly to us as if we were troublemakers, chased us out, and shut the guesthouse door while talking to Agoda customer service, as though he didn't want us to hear. After we called Agoda again, we learned that he had twisted what happened. He made us sound unreasonable for asking to check in late in the evening, when the guesthouse didn't have rooms for us at all that day. The manager's attitude was poor, and the whole experience was very disappointing.

It is cheap and close to transport, but there are better places. These coffin-sized bunks are for anyone who likes feeling squashed like a sardine. They’ve crammed nine tiny beds into what is basically a small single room meant for one person, with three bunks stacked on top of each other. The beds are so short your feet stick out, and there's barely room to move between them. You have to suck in your stomach just to squeeze through and climb in.
