Hotel YX Lai Chi Kok

The convenient location covered everything I needed on my short trip, and I really liked the modern design and relaxing feel. Corliss was especially impressive at solving problems, and I appreciated all her little helps. Great experience!

It’s roughly eight minutes on foot to the MTR and about five to a bus stop. I don’t enjoy staying in busy areas, but from here it was still easy to get to places like Mong Kok by MTR, and I’d pick it again on my next Hong Kong trip. The rooms are small, as the photos show, though that’s typical for HK. The hotel is affordable, clean, and has a pleasant environment. The staff were friendly, especially the women at reception.

The staff were friendly, and for a short stay it was okay if you can manage with little space and don't mind noise. With two people and both suitcases open, our very small room had almost nowhere left to move. I could also clearly hear people talking in the next room, so the soundproofing could be better.

The rooms were modern and clean, and the price was decent for a location that isn't ideal. The hotel sits in an industrial area, with car shops and garages along the way and not much nearby for tourists. The room was very small. They only supply disposable paper towels, though you can ask for regular ones.
