We were there for seven days, and for the price the room was good. We had a king-size bed, AC, a portable water heater, hair dryer, TV, ventilation fans in the room and restroom, and a table by the window. The private bathroom had a sink, hot water, shampoo, and body wash. Fresh towels every day were a real plus, and there was a Welcome supermarket nearby for food and drinks. A few things let it down: sometimes the AC smelled moldy, the TV had no reception and showed a black screen on our second night, and there was no drinking water available. Even so, we liked the room and would book again if we end up in Hong Kong.

I was a bit unsure about staying in a backpacker hostel for the first time, but I had a good time and would like to stay properly next time. My flight was around 2 AM, and after checking out at about 11 PM, I needed somewhere affordable to rest between walking around Hong Kong, which gets tiring. The room was very clean, and the window looked out over a typical downtown Hong Kong view. The hostel is in busy Mong Kok, which is convenient, and the airport bus stop is close by. The reception is on the 22nd floor, and the receptionist was very friendly. Entry is by card key, or, when reception is unattended, you use the number written on the key card to get in. Security felt good.
