It felt more like a boarding house than a hotel, and the rooms were tiny. Getting into my room meant swiping the access card and entering a code. It took too many tries, and I couldn't get anyone to help me with the card.

For a solo traveller or a couple on a budget, I'd recommend it. Families or anyone with more to spend who wants extra comfort should look elsewhere. The rooms were clean but cramped, as is usual in HK, and if you're fussy about soap's smell or feel, bring your own. We checked in at 3.30am after our flight landed late, and there was some miscommunication with staff. The stay was otherwise acceptable, though I found the service friendliness below par and felt as if I was in the wrong for staying there in the first place. That's generally Hong Kong culture, though.

The rooms were small but clean enough. Staff weren't especially friendly, and the building itself wasn't very clean either.

The price for what you get is excellent. I really liked the man on staff, he only spoke English but was kind and tried to answer all my questions. The woman was rude and woke me at 8:00 a.m. Bring earplugs, she's awful!
