The location worked well for us: about a 20-minute walk from Kowloon station, with lots of authentic places to eat nearby and the waterfront about 20 minutes away on foot. Finding the place through the maze of floors and doors was tricky, but that was part of the adventure. We didn’t run into staff, though once we found their office, we got directions to our room on a computer screen. The room is tiny, as the name micro suggests, and there’s no window, so anyone who’s claustrophobic should avoid it. It wasn’t clean either. The bathroom mirror was really dirty, there was mould in the caulking, and empty bottles from the previous guest were left behind. I’m sure the sheet had been laundered, but it had stains and holes, so I slept in my clothes on my own blanket. There was a dead cockroach on the floor in the morning. The air conditioning was really noisy, and we heard a lot from other guests, but at least it had air conditioning. Hong Kong is expensive. If you need somewhere cheap and have very low standards, this might work. We made it through and came away with a funny story. You might too.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and gave me extra pillows and blankets at no extra cost. I also appreciated getting an upgrade. The room was small, as you'd expect from a budget hotel in Hong Kong, and the building could use some refurbishing. It's noisy because it's right by the highway. Meals aren't offered, but the price is budget-friendly.

The place felt like a flat divided into tiny rooms, with no service. My room was dirty, the bathroom door was broken, and the bathroom light didn't work. The building seemed poorly maintained and close to falling apart, and the lifts were old and dirty. It honestly felt like a set for a horror show, and calling it a hotel felt like a way of taking people's money.

I stayed six nights in a very small room, and it was dusty and dirty throughout. Ants and bugs were around, and the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned, with marks all over the glass and a broken basin. Dust covered the shelf, TV console, and mirror. Their idea of daily cleaning seemed to be a quick sweep of the floor. They changed the bedsheet only once, after I asked.

The room felt far too cramped to stay in comfortably. There were cockroaches, and the toilet smelled bad. I wouldn't recommend it.
