Modern Inn

The room was a basic, mansion-style setup, but had what I needed: a bed, bathroom, TV, and fridge. It was cheap and unpretentious, which suits me. Finding it can be tricky since there are lots of hotels on every floor, and the elevators weren't dependable. Still, the location in Tsim Sha Tsui is great, with restaurants and transit close by and access to the Nathan Road subway line. The cleaner was friendly and did a wonderful job each day. I also appreciated that the owner, Sam, waited for me after I messaged to say my flight was late, until I arrived safely.

I booked the room for my parents and brother during their seven-day Hong Kong trip, and they loved it. The location worked really well, with the night market and Avenue of Stars nearby, plus plenty to see and places to eat around the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they offer free coffee and hot water at the front desk. Their room was clean and well maintained, with daily cleaning. I highly recommend the place.

We ended up staying eight nights because the place suited us so well. The rooms are compact, but comfortable and quiet, and everything worked. Housekeeping and cleanliness really stood out. Staff were considerate and helpful, and reception is open 24 hours. Tsim Sha Tsui is an excellent base, close to stations and the ferry terminal. Highly recommend.
