We slept in one of their tiny rooms for a couple of nights. It was clean and the welcome was nice, but that’s where the positives ended. The room felt like one of Hong Kong’s cages. The host said to leave the air conditioning on all the time because body heat makes the room reach 40 C after two hours and the air gets damp. But the unit was too powerful for such a small space, and we felt cold whatever temperature we set. Since we slept right underneath it, the dry air bothered our eyes and nostrils. When we turned it on, it smelled bad for the first few minutes, so it probably hadn’t been disinfected. I got sick from the air conditioning and asked to check out early and get a refund for the unused days. At first they said yes, then rejected every settlement offer and stopped replying. I strongly recommend against booking here.

I was very happy with the stay. The room was small, but spotless, with fresh sheets and duvet covers, and adapters were provided. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars are a six to seven minute walk away. The location is right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, with Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and the airport shuttle bus stop just downstairs. Highly recommend it.

The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful that even my terrible sense of direction felt less stressful. The hotel is easy to get around from, with different transport options and lots of well-known restaurants and shops nearby. It’s right across a small street from Exit A2. I’ll stay here again when I’m next in Hong Kong.

The room was cozy even though it wasn’t large, and you can go shopping right downstairs. The first-floor building manager was very friendly. I had a great stay, and the location was excellent. Highly recommended.

We arrived at 11 PM, and the lovely lady at Platinum Hotel stayed in touch because she was worried we might not find our way. It was actually easy to locate, right beside the Citibank. The room was clean, and getting around was very convenient. This time of year, all the Tsim Sha Tsui attractions are easy to reach. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍
