The area felt a bit shady, with people constantly trying to make you buy things. Every time we needed the one elevator to our room, there was a huge queue. The rooms are tiny, though I guess that's typical for Hong Kong, and finding the hotel was hard. The only sign says 16floor. Upstairs it says hotel skylark, with an arrow pointing left, but the hotel is actually to the right. After checking in, we went down a few floors to our room. There were cockroaches in the lobby and a few in the room. The beds and towels were badly stained, and a lot in the room didn't work well. The TV had no buttons, and the broken remote meant we couldn't turn it on. The fridge just had a fan that sucked hot air out to cool it, and only ran while the key card powered the room, so we couldn't leave anything in there to stay cold. There was a safe, but its key was broken off inside. The shower, toilet, and sink were all in one, which was an interesting setup. The AC was okay if we also used the fan and turned it all the way up. WiFi connected easily and worked well. Out in the hallway there was a hot and cold water machine and a microwave, which was nice, but the cups provided were dirty, so we just used water bottles. The staff were distant and quiet, but understood English fairly well.

The price is reasonable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean and well located, but finding the place was difficult. The hotel is very small, with extremely small rooms, though it was okay for a few days. The bed and blanket were too small for two people, and at night there was sometimes an extremely strong cigarette smell. It's in "little India"; expect Indian people to push hard to sell things like taxi rides, copy watches, and drugs. Hong Kong is expensive, so this can be a good choice if you're willing to accept its limits. You pay less and get less.

The AC and free water were the good parts. Otherwise, there were cockroaches crawling around, including dead ones in the soap dispenser, and there was no soap. The room was much smaller than the Booking photos suggested. The sheets were really dirty and stained everywhere, and the bed felt like sleeping on a rock. The elevators were extremely slow.

The entrance area felt a little scary, so that's why I'm giving it four stars. I stayed three nights and it was really good otherwise. The room was tiny, but that's normal in a big city like this. Everything was clean, there was hot water, and the room even had a TV and fridge.

The room was so tiny that my bathroom at home is bigger. I know it's a budget room, but everything looks much better in the photos online. What a joke. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and it isn't even worth one star. Rooms in the Philippines are much better, bigger, and cheaper.
