Southerast Asia Guesthouse

I stayed alone, and the room was big enough for one person. It was clean and cleaned every day, and the receptionist was friendly and kind when helping me. The guesthouse is close to all the attractions in Hong Kong. If you're looking to be near the tourist spots, this is a good place.

I wasn't expecting a hotel like this, and I don't know what to call it. It's inside an Indian market where all kinds of things are sold, and the place is messy and unhygienic. There's hardly any room to move in the room, let alone the bathroom.

We stayed seven days in a semi-double room. It was easy to find, check-in went smoothly, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean, though there wasn't much space for two large suitcases. Free coffee was a nice extra. The WiFi, heater, TV and remote, and AC all did their jobs. Water pressure was good in the shower, sink, and bowl. The room secured with a keycard. We never had a long wait for the elevator like in the other blocks. Checking out was easy too, we just handed over the keycard.

We couldn't check in after 12 even though we'd arranged it in advance. The place was hard to find, and lots of random people outside tried to sell us different guesthouses. Maybe getting there before 11pm would have changed things, but this was bad enough for one star. We had to get a different hotel for the whole stay.
