Weave Studios - Kai Tak

Everyone on the Weave team was friendly and kind, and they were a big help with my move-in. I’ve really enjoyed staying here. If you’re looking for a place in Hong Kong, I’d recommend Weave- Kai Tak.

I live here, and the property itself is nice, but the management service is incredibly slow. Neighbours slam doors and wake you at 2, 3, 4 or 5am, depending on their mood. There are chairs in the room with no backs, and the response is that you can buy your own. The terrace doors have been broken for three months with no progress on repairs, taking away a major shared space despite the expensive rent. Lights keep flickering on and off, and each time it’s a different one to report and get fixed. I question my decision to stay here every day. I pay a lot and can’t get proper sleep. If you’re a decent human being, I suggest rethinking your options.

The shared areas were a real plus. The living room, gym and workspace were usually quiet, so I could use them whenever I wanted. The kitchen got busy at peak times, but I never had to wait for anything, though I didn’t cook much. It was cleaned daily and never got too dirty despite all the people using it. Community ambassadors were friendly and helpful, and the service was great. The studio itself was small, like most places in Hong Kong, but it had lots of clever storage, so things didn’t end up lying around. The building had just been renovated and everything felt new and clean. The neighborhood was convenient, with lots of cheap local food. There’s a new MTR station within walking distance, plus many direct buses to all parts of the city. I’d recommend staying here, especially for a shorter time in Hong Kong, since it saves you the hassle of finding an apartment and buying furniture.

The area around Weave Studio is quiet, and close to bus stops and an MTR station. I spent seven days there and had a pleasant stay. Bryan, Jessie and Talia gave me a warm welcome and made me feel at home. Most daily necessities were provided in the room, and there were lots of facilities in the shared spaces. I was struggling with the facilities on the G/F because I’m not very good with technology, and John came over to help. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
