The staff were really friendly and tried hard to communicate with guests using their phone translators. It might help to download one yourself too. It would be easier if they knew at least some English. The rooms are nice, though they could be cleaner, and shower smells can come up. That seems to be a design issue in Chinese bathrooms generally, not something unique to this hotel. There’s just one elevator for this seven-story hotel, so expect a wait if you’re heading up or down.
