Everything went smoothly during my stay. It’s a very large, older hotel, but it was clean and perfectly fine to stay in. It gets busy during holidays and major events, and feels very local, with mostly Chinese guests and only a little English spoken. There’s plenty to do, so it could work well for families with kids. A supermarket, Pizza Hut, and KFC are nearby, and getting a DiDi is easy.

We picked this hotel for its proximity to the airport and stayed one night after taking the bullet train from Shandong. The room was a decent size and clean.

The complimentary fruit plate was a nice gesture, and breakfast had a good selection, including Western options for an extra charge. The hotel was clean and felt newer. We did have a small issue when they initially refused our American Express, but after we called Starwood, they were suddenly able to take it.

Simon and Burton kindly drove me to the nearby airport shuttle building. It was only a few minutes away, but with my heavy check-in baggage, that short ride made a huge difference.

The larger Four Points suite upgrade was a nice surprise, and the happy hour food was delicious, definitely worth trying. A really nice place to stay in Guan, close to Beijing Daxing International Airport.
