Lize Graceland Artistic Suite Inn

The owner’s hospitality made our stay feel more like visiting a friend than booking a hotel. She was always happy to offer tea when we crossed paths, and when we left early for a day trip, she packed us breakfast to take along. Our room had traditional Chinese styling that suited its Old Town setting, with modern touches like an electronic bidet. The location is right in Old Town Lijiang, so exploring on foot was easy. We had a great time July 10-12, 2025, and would happily stay again if we return to Lijiang.

The traditional Chinese house feel of the property is lovely. Julia, the property manager, was fantastic and attentive to what I needed. She shared lots of useful information about town and was always available on WeChat.

Right beside The Mu’s Palace in the center of the old town, this is a lovely inn in a great location. My room was clean and comfortable, with a cute view of the courtyard. The team was extremely helpful and accommodating.

This nine-room boutique hotel in Lijiang ancient town has real character and is well maintained. It made us feel at home, and the rooms were a good size, nicely lit, and well laid out. Managers Julia and Jeffery went out of their way to take care of our needs. They arranged a pick-up at the speed train station, which was helpful since finding your way around the ancient town isn’t easy. We stayed four nights and highly recommend it.
