Songyun No.1 Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area)

Getting to the Jiuzhaigou entrance took me about 15 minutes on foot. There were fruit sellers and other shops along the way, so the walk didn't feel like a chore. As a solo traveler, I found this place made sightseeing easy, and I'm really grateful for that. Please support the souvenir sellers you pass around here, haha. The room was private and very reasonably priced, with various amenities. A woman on staff seemed like an experienced professional and was so kind that I felt relaxed and at ease. Honestly, just having her at the front desk made the stay worthwhile. She arranged a one-way bus to Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station for my return high-speed train. It cost 50 yuan, and I could board right in front of the hotel, so getting back went smoothly. It's best to book that return bus as early as you can. I reached the station quite early, but there were plenty of shops, so I enjoyed the wait.
