The river views from both of our executive suites were lovely, first on the 16th floor and then on the 7th. We spent two weeks here, and the cleanliness and service were top class. The restaurant's locally sourced seafood was delicious, and it's the kind we can't get in England. A great stay.

The rates were very good, so I didn't expect a hotel this nice in this location. The rooms were really good.

The room was bright and much cleaner than I expected. Towels and the toothbrush and toothpaste set were clean, and they provided shower gel, shampoo, and a hair dryer. They promptly topped up the tea bags and spring water. The TV and internet were both pretty weak, though. I was on the 15th floor facing the river, with a lovely view at night. The nearby riverbank was busy every evening, with groups of middle-aged women square dancing, selling clothes and toys, and doing fortune-telling. It was crowded on weekdays just like weekends. Traffic horns woke me early each morning, basically a natural alarm clock. Mainland Chinese people really do love honking.
