The hotel staff were attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Getting around is the main consideration here: most shops and restaurants are down at ground level, so staying in a ground-level hotel makes more sense than staying up on the mountain. Up top, the view is lovely and it's quiet, but the paths are uneven and get worse in the rain. Some parts of the trail are poorly lit at night, and there aren't many restaurants up there. Staying on the mountain really only makes sense if you plan to enjoy the view and stay at the hotel. Tourist from the U.S.A.
