The room was comfortable and spacious. There's also an indoor play area for kids.

The shopping street is about a 20-minute walk away, with a food street, supermarket, and other shops there. Rooms are clean and bright, though the air conditioning seems centrally controlled and wasn't cool enough at night. Breakfast is mostly Chinese food, which seems aimed more at local guests.

Even though it was only 21 degrees outside in autumn, the hotel had the heating on throughout. The room got unbearably hot. I was still perspiring in there after taking a cold shower.

At breakfast, I found a tiny piece of glass in my fried rice and first thought it was a diamond-shaped egg or a hidden diamond. I bit into it and thankfully didn't swallow it, so my mouth wasn't hurt. Since our group was rushing to check out and catch the high-speed train, I chose not to report it to the restaurant manager. I later told the tour guide about it. I couldn't help thinking that in the US I might have sued the hotel for millions, and I'm grateful to my ancestors for keeping me safe.
