The breakfast had a great range, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. As a Diamond member, I was welcomed with a small fruit basket. My room was huge, with marble across the bathroom walls down to the floor, and a balcony that opened onto the garden. One of the best Hilton stays I’ve had. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Selina was such a friendly waitress, and the service was spot on. We had a phenomenal meal at their Qingya Chinese restaurant, with dishes bringing together Cantonese and Shanghai local food. The beef, crab, and shrimp were all cooked perfectly. Selina deserves a pay raise! It was a splendid dining experience.

We loved having a little balcony over the lake, especially as a sunny place to sit and unwind. Guangfulin Culture Park was easy to get to, and breakfast had an excellent variety. If you want a break from the city's hustle and bustle, this is a perfect choice, with fantastic rooms too.

The terrace view of Guangfulin was lovely, and the buffet breakfast had a good selection. I was after a quiet, relaxing break from bustling downtown Shanghai, and this was exactly what I wanted.

This could be a top class hotel, but communication is really hard when hardly anyone speaks English, and the people who do speak it only a little. More than once, they brought the wrong food or drink, even after I pointed to the item on the menu.
