The location was very good, just a few meters from the metro and a short walk to The Bund. The air conditioning worked well, and there was no outside noise. The room was an acceptable size, with two good-sized single beds and two pillows. The small bathroom had a shower area, and cleanliness was adequate. We didn't use the WiFi. Breakfast changed daily and had a fairly complete range of oriental food; the western options were croissants, sliced bread, butter, jam, and donuts. At night, the young man at reception only greeted us in Chinese. He didn't explain anything, including the room number, where the elevators were, or when and where breakfast was served.

The Dragon Ball Z-themed room decor was fun, and the occasional noise in the room was manageable. The location was the best part, just a 15-minute walk from the Bund and handy for sightseeing. A decent stay.

We stayed for two days with friends, and everything was quite good. I have no complaints. The subway station is very close. From Terminal 2, take the subway to "People's quare" and then it's about a minute's walk.

The rooms are pretty small, though manageable. The bigger problem is how much sound carries. You can hear conversations from other rooms and hair dryers, so light sleepers should avoid this place.
