We spent two memorable nights here with our two little girls and would definitely come back when we're in Shanghai again. The hotel is excellent and close to Di Shui Lake, the largest artificial lake. Out front, there are activities where you can experience local and traditional Chinese culture. The lake is just a short walk away, and you can also rent a shared bicycle to ride along the bayside. Breakfast had high-quality Chinese and Western options, including an open kitchen where they made fresh noodles.

The rooms were exceptional and a lovely place to unwind after busy days of sightseeing. The hotel gave us more than we expected, with very comfortable rooms and service at a very generous price. We'd just come from Los Angeles, London, and Paris, which were all lovely too, but much more expensive by comparison. Shanghai is such a big city that everywhere feels far from somewhere, so the distance from the places we visited didn't bother us given what the hotel offers. I highly recommend this stunning place.

The nearby shopping malls still aren't open, which is the only downside 😂. Otherwise, this is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city, with beautiful views of Dishui Lake. So relaxing!
