It’s much better than Howard Jonsons in Ningbo, bigger and cleaner, and they serve European-style food, or at least they try to. There are European dishes in the restaurant too, and the breakfast buffet is a decent size. Lots of European guests stay here, but very few people speak English, which makes it quite difficult to ask for things.

The welcome felt warm, and the place mixes local and international touches. Comfort was good too. Communication could be tricky, though, and sometimes I couldn't get what I was actually asking for.

It’s handy for getting around, with shopping centers and the train station nearby. Pudong airport is close too.

You can walk to plenty of shops and places to eat from here, which made getting around easy. A comfortable, convenient spot for travelers.
