The service was top notch during the week I stayed here. Jackness, the lobby guy, and his team were very helpful, and they spoke English, as did the hotel receptionists. Hopson One is attached to the hotel, and there's a nearby train station outside the mall, which worked well for me as a tourist. The mall only had non-halal restaurants, but luckily a sushi stall satisfied my hunger. There wasn't much I could eat at the hotel breakfast either, since most of it was non-halal, so I could only have cereal.
4/10
The pool, room service, and location all worked well for me. Breakfast service was disappointing, though. Utensils often weren't replaced quickly enough for new diners, but I could put up with that. What really let me down was the takeaway breakfast for my 6am departure: two pieces of fruit, two boiled eggs, and three pieces of plain bread. Really?
10/10
The room was really big and comfortable, and the service was great. Hopson One mall is nearby, and Wujiaochang station is close too.
4/10
We're staying at the Hyatt Regency in Wujiaochang now, and the front desk support has been so disappointing. The service feels abrupt and unhelpful. We think highly of the Hyatt chain, but this hotel in particular doesn't have the Hyatt touches we've come to expect, and we'll definitely rethink staying with them in the future.
10/10
The hotel is clean and in a great location. Thanks to receptionist Mason Xie, who spent a lot of time helping me track down my missing Taobao items. I really appreciate it! ☺️
