There was a strong smell of smoke in both the lobby and the rooms, despite the hotel being described as non-smoking. I switched rooms, but it barely helped. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re sensitive to smoke.
10/10
The view of the city from the window was great, and the toilet was heated and self-flushing, which was a nice extra. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with basic grooming supplies provided. The staff made me feel welcome, and the hotel is central, close to cafes and transport. I’d stay here again when I’m back in Shanghai.
10/10
We had a good-sized, clean room with the amenities we needed, and breakfast was good enough. The hotel sits above the metro station and is about a 20-25 minute walk from Pearl Tower.
6/10
At a reasonable price for this area, this place works well for business travelers. Lujiazui subway station is 600 meters away.
2/10
I had booked a room, but the hotel refused to let me check in because I’m a foreign national of Chinese descent. The front desk staff were extremely rude, and the service was terrible. This hotel was awful.
