JIANGUO HIDDEN Hotel - Shanghai Lujiazui Software Park Store

Most things were fine, but the grout between the tiles is already moldy, even though the hotel only opened in 2024.

There was no bottled water or toilet paper, and I got no service. This hotel ruined the trip for me. Don’t stay here. My last reminder: never stay at this hotel.

The staff were friendly, and it was really quiet there. Lancun Road subway station is a 10-minute walk away.

I was shocked by what happened during my stay in room 8532 from July 6th-9th, 2025. Several things went missing from our room. After we came back from sightseeing, a sachet of my aunt’s liquid cushion foundation, which she’d left by the sink, was gone. Another time, the good-quality thermal bag I’d put on the table for packing my toiletries had disappeared. I complained, but the housekeeper denied taking it and looked completely innocent. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I accepted a paper bag as compensation from the receptionist who helped sort out the problem with the housekeeper. Then, at 11:00 pm, while I was packing to go home, I couldn’t find my AirPods. I’d hidden them under my suitcase and covered them with clothes. I was leaving in a few hours, and some staff had probably already gone home. When I found the AirPods, they didn’t work. What else could I complain about? The hotel is in a nice, grand location, and the rooms are spacious and excellent. The reception staff were helpful. There’s a laundry room, dryer, gym, and complimentary coffee, tea, and ice. But the cleaning staff’s behavior was frightening. Don’t leave valuables in your room!
