Jin Jiang Hotel

I only had lunch on the 11th floor, I didn't stay at the hotel. The food was nice, but restaurant service was slow and inattentive. Don't eat here.

The room was a bit dated and had an old carpet smell, though the beds were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job every day and kept the amenities stocked. The bathroom was lovely, very clean, and had both a shower and a 🛁 in a distinctive antique style. The hotel itself is in a historical building, but the lobby, corridors, and shared spaces feel dated and smelled like an old grandma's house. We chose Cathay Garden. Staff weren't very helpful by the standard you'd expect at a 5* property, and they didn't speak English well. The location is nice, close to People’s Square and South Shaanxi Rd Metro station, with malls, cafes, and little shops nearby. The stay wasn't bad, but I wouldn't stay there again.

The refrigerator barely cooled anything, and the room was old-fashioned with a poor view. The room service was awful, and no one answers the phone promptly. Nobody speaks good English. This isn't a “Stared Hotel” at all. DO NOT STAY HERE.
