Jinjiang Inn (Shanghai Pudong Airport)

The shuttle bus was very comfortable and runs every hour between the hotel and the airport. If you're looking for somewhere near Shanghai Pudong Airport when your flight is coming up, I highly recommend it. There are lots of rooms, so it was easy to make a reservation.

Breakfast was quite good and memorable, especially Yang Zhou's fried rice. There are also several restaurants by the hotel, so finding food doesn't mean going far. The customer service was good too, though you'll need a little Chinese to talk with staff since English isn't understood here. The hotel itself is very close to Shanghai Pudong airport.

The staff were super friendly, as you'd expect from this popular hotel chain in China, which is known for good service. The hotel is very close to PVG, and airport pickup is free if you request it. It was also much quieter at night than the hotels in the airport's core area. Breakfast was okay.

Catching the shuttle bus was the hard part. I couldn't find the stop, so I asked at the information desk on Terminal 1's third floor, and they called the hotel. They said to board bus number "70677" in front of Exit 12. The bus staff didn't speak English, so I showed them my phone and kept repeating "70677". They let me on, though you may need to book ahead. The shuttle going back to the airport had a different number, and the trip takes about 15 minutes, so check the timetable. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with strong shower pressure that warmed me up when I was cold. The front desk staff were lovely and greeted me with smiles, which helped ease my travel fatigue. I stayed at this transit hotel in Shanghai Pudong.
