The room was a comfortable size, and the service was friendly and good. My stay was pleasant, though the nearest metro station was a bit far away. Aside from that, everything was fine.

Urcove is Hyatt's China hotel brand. This hotel is beside Putong South road, across from Nanpu Square park, and close to SNIEC, which is handy if you're going to the exhibition halls. The service was nice across the trip and matched the booked package. Breakfast was included, though I didn't find it very tasty.

The area is quiet and peaceful, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are very friendly and speak English. It's well located near the metro, and breakfast was fantastic.

I spent 20 nights here on a business trip. On the very first night, I found feces on the shower nozzle. The manager offered to waive one night's fee as a remedy, but I refused. All I wanted was an official apology. I raised the matter with Hyatt, but they took no further action. I understand things can happen, but I can't accept the way this hotel avoided responsibility. A terrible experience, both because of the incident and Hyatt's response.
